Behind Closed Doors: Exposing Anti-Competitive Practices in Bid-Rigging

I will be speaking at the ACFE Singapore Chapter webinar titled: “Behind Closed Doors: Exposing Anti-Competitive Practices in Bid Rigging” on 18 November 2024 at 3 PM to 4.30 PM Singapore Time over Zoom.

I will be sharing the stage with legal counsel Cheryl Ng, CFE for this 1.5-hour webinar, exposing the anti-competitive practices used in a bid-rigging case in Singapore.

Cheryl will give an overview of bid-rigging in the context of Singapore’s Competition Act, administered by the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (CCCS). She will also share some legal cases related to anti-competitive activities.

Ee-Chuan will take a deep dive into how he identified the red flags of an actual bid-rigging case involving a publicly-funded local educational institution, sharing the fraud examination techniques he used to uncover further clues, leading to the report to CCCS.
